Downtown Historic Walking Tour

The historic tour, which takes place at 1:00 each Saturday, takes you on a guided journey through the city's history. From its foundation as a westward plantation settlement, to its status as the southernmost stop on the underground railroad, to its rise to become a capital of denim production known throughout the world. If you're new in town, a long-time resident, or visitor, the tour will certainly bring you a fresh and fun new perspective on the Gate City.

African American Historic Walking Tour

A guided walking tour which takes you between sites related to the history of Greensboro's African American population. See one of the oldest luxury green book hotels in America, learn the history of one of America's two historically black women's universities, discover the story of how African American businessmen adapted to the challenges of segregation, view remarkable church architecture, and much, much more. Tours take place at 3pm on Saturdays.

True Crime Tour

Do you enjoy the darker side of life? Join us on the true crime tour to regale in the tales of Greensboro's most vicious and disturbing true crimes. Tour between sites related to these well-researched and thoroughly dissected crimes. The tour starts at 5pm on Saturdays.
